On November 16, 2022, Care Design NY and other advocates participated in the New York Disability Advocates (NYDA) rally at the Capitol in Albany on Wednesday. They urged lawmakers to invest in the future of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who care for them by supporting an 8.5% COLA.
