Peer Empowerment Group - How to Speak Up for Yourself

Calling all self-advocates! Join us for our virtual Peer Empowerment Group to meet and gather with fellow self-advocates. This session will feature a thoughtful discussion, led by our host, on what it means to be a ‘self-advocate’, how to be assertive when needed, how to ask for support and accommodation and how to be an ally for others.

Don't miss this opportunity to find your voice and network with other self-advocates! Plus, if you attend, you will receive a custom Peer Empowerment badge!

Note: This virtual event is in collaboration with Partners Health Plan. You do not need to be a Care Design NY member to attend - all self-advocates are welcome.

Provider Webinar - Medicaid Eligibility: Maintaining Benefits for the Intellectually and Developmentally Disabled in New York State

This session will review New York State Medicaid eligibility guidelines and best practices to ensure uninterrupted Medicaid coverage for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. We will also review the FIDA-IDD winddown with a
focus on changes associated with switching from Managed Care to Fee-For-Service Medicaid.

Provider staff involved with Benefits & Entitlements, as well as those involved with transitioning individuals out of FIDA-IDD, are welcome and encouraged to attend!
