In order to minimize any potential health risks to the individuals and families we support and to our workforce, as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis continues to evolve, all Care Design NY staff will work remotely effective Friday, March 13, 2020 through at least, Friday, April 3, 2020 during which time office locations will not be accessible to the public. This proactive decision by Care Design NY is in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidance that the community spread of the illness can be minimized by limiting social contact.
We will be available and accessible to our members, their families, providers, and any interested parties. Care management services and supports, along with all other company business, will only be provided via phone/tele- conferencing, email, and video conferencing during this period of time. We have asked our care management staff to reach out to our members more often during this public health event.
